21-year-old man arrested in fatal crash near Arthur, Ont.

Wellington County OPP say a 21-year-old man has been arrested following a fatal crash involving a stolen pickup truck near Arthur, Ont.

The crash happened at the intersection of Concession 16 and Sideroad 15 at around 8 a.m on Wednesday.

A 43-year-old man from Palmerston was taken from the scene in life-threatening condition and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Police said three people in the truck were injured and at least one was airlifted to hospital.

The driver from Listowel was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs causing death and a list of other charges.

OPP said traffic in the area will be diverted for several hours for the investigation.

Arthur is about 44 kilometres north of Guelph.
