A husband and wife from Bradford have been charged with assaulting one another in two separate incidents, police say.
According to South Simcoe Police, officers were called to a home in Bradford on July 1 at around 10:43 p.m., by a man who alleged his wife had assaulted him.
When police arrived on scene, the man’s wife told officers that she too had been assaulted by her husband on June 30.
The attending officers concluded that there were two separate incidents, and as a result arrested the pair.
Police say the 38-year-old woman and her 37-year-old husband are now facing assault charges.
Police say they were transported to the South Division, where they were released later with a future court date and instructions not to communicate with each other.
