Police and the fire marshal continue to investigate three suspicious fires in the city of Hamilton.

All three blazes happened in close proximity to each other at around 5 a.m. Saturday.

Police and firefighters were called to an alley near Shaw and Emerald streets in central Hamilton where an abandoned vehicle was on fire.

The flames were put out before fire crews arrived on the scene.

Fire crews were then called to a blaze on a backyard deck of a home on Aikman Avenue.

Fire crews then extinguished a fire on Harvey Street that spread from a trailer to a shed.

No one was injured in any of the fires.

Damage from the fire on Harvey Street is estimated at $5,000 while the damage estimates from the two other incidents have not been released.
