A 26-year-old man has been charged following a crash with a cyclist in the city’s northeast end Monday.
According to police, it was around 8 p.m. when a cyclist was travelling southbound on Highbury Avenue.
He went through a green light at the intersection at Highbury Avenue and Killarney Road and was struck by a pickup truck going east, officers said.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He is currently in fair condition.
A London man is charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood, causing bodily harm.
The accused is set to appear in court July 26 in relation to the charge.
