Two people are dead after a house fire in a small Nova Scotia community.
Fire crews were called to the home in Westville, just outside of New Glasgow, shortly after midnight on Sunday.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and keep the house standing, but Westville Police Chief Don Husser says two adults died.
Neighbours say the victims of the blaze were a mother and son, and that the mother was a longtime resident in the community.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
