The individual subsequently went to Stadium SkyTrain station and started fighting with a man there, according to police.

Investigators said three bystanders stepped in and helped the first man leave, but the suspect allegedly punched two of them in the face.

Two transit police officers responded and tried to arrest the suspect, who they said was “clearly agitated.”

The officer hit her had on the glass and the floor.

A second officer kept struggling with the suspect and injured his shoulder.

More officers later showed up and arrested the suspect.

One of the initial arresting officers sustained a concussion and the other was treated for a shoulder injury. They’ve been released from hospital and they’re recovering at home, police said.
