205 grams of meth seized by police in Prince Albert, Sask.

Two people are charged with drug trafficking after police seized roughly 205 grams of meth in Prince Albert, Sask.

A man wanted for trafficking meth was located by the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) just after 4:30 p.m. local time on June 26.

Officers surrounded a store at Marquis Road and 5th Avenue East and arrested the 42-year-old man inside.

A 23-year-old Prince Albert woman in a waiting vehicle was also taken into custody.

ISET investigators searched the vehicle, finding meth, a digital scale, bear spray, cash and several cellphones.

They have been charged with meth possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public peace.

The Arborfield, Sask., man is facing additional charges of possession of property from the proceeds of crime and being at large of his undertaking.

Both appeared in Prince Albert provincial court on June 27.
