A 42-year-old man from Angus suffered serious injuries after an alleged assault, police say.
According to the Nottawasaga Detachment of the OPP, on Wednesday at 10:46 p.m., officers responded to a call about an assault on King Street in Angus.
When police arrived, they found a man with leg injuries that appeared to be from an edged weapon.

Police say the man was transported to a hospital in Toronto to be treated for serious injuries.

Police say further investigation revealed an argument had occurred between the two men, and had escalated.
According to police, a 61-year-old man from Angus was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been charged with aggravated assault and uttering threats causing death or bodily harm.
Police say he will be held for a Barrie bail court sometime on Thursday.
