What’s open and closed in Kingston for the Canada Day long weekend

Canada Day long weekend is one of Kingston's busiest stretches of time. See what's open and closed from Friday to Monday in Kingston. CKWS

Here’s a list of what’s opened and closed in Kingston during the Canada Day long weekend. Since July 1 (Canada Day) falls on a Sunday this year, many will get Monday as a statutory holiday.

Nevertheless, several businesses and attractions will remain open on both Sunday and Monday due to the high influx of tourists and foot traffic.

Note that some items may appear on both lists, because they may be open on Sunday, (Canada Day) but closed on Monday (the official Statutory holiday) or vice versa.

  • All Ontario LCBOs will be open on Sunday, but they will be closed Monday.
  • Fort Henry will be open regular hours every day.
