Winnipeg’s new professional soccer club, Valour FC, has named Rob Gale as its first head coach.
“I was a fan of this team before it was even named,” Gale said.
“You will not find someone more passionate about soccer in Manitoba than me.”
Gale said the size of the coaching staff will be determined by the league, and expects it to have ‘Manitoba content’.

In 2006, Gale was recruited by the Manitoba Soccer Association to be its technical director.
