The ICE unit began their investigation on Jan. 11, 2018. They were looking into the activities of a person allegedly sharing child pornography online through peer-to-peer networks.

After identifying Regina as the location where the offence was occurring, a search warrant was executed on Wednesday. Evidence of child porn was located and police seized computer devices, electronic storage and cellular phones. Those devices will be subject to further investigation.

The ICE unit is comprised of members from the Saskatchewan RCMP as well as Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert police services.
