Fire crews battle blaze at Dalhousie agricultural campus in Bible Hill

Multiple fire crews have responded to a blaze in Bible Hill, N.S., on Wednesday evening.

The blaze began in the roof of the Cox Institute, part of the Dalhousie agricultural campus.

Dalhousie University said in a statement that the building is closed until further notice.

“Faculty and staff affected by the fire are able to report to work in the MacRae Library or make alternative arrangements with their supervisors,” the statement read.

EHS and RCMP also responded to the scene and the Fire Marshall is still investigating.
