Winnipeg Jets to open 2018-2019 season in St. Louis

A month removed from a historic playoff run, the Winnipeg Jets have started to prepare for the next season.

The team will open the 2018-2019 season Oct. 4 with a game against the Blues in St. Louis. Its home opener is set for five days later on Oct. 9 versus the LA Kings.

Winnipeg will play the first of its seven pre-season games against the Minnesota Wild on Sept. 17 at Bell MTS Place.

The Jets made it all the way to the Western Conference Final this past season before being eliminated by the Vegas Golden Knights in five games. The final four appearance marked the franchise’s best playoff finish.
