UPDATE:  Traffic back-ups have now been cleared up in West Kelowna after some major delays Tuesday morning.  Northbound traffic on Highway 97 was moving very slowly and was backed up for kilometres after two accidents on the W.R. Bennett bridge. Police said the first collision happened just before 7 a.m. and involved three vehicles.  A short time later, another accident occurred in the opposite lane of travel on the bridge.  The two accidents not only created traffic delays, but posed a challenge for emergency crews responding to the scene.
