The sole occupant of the home was able to escape, but suffered a minor injury and was taken for treatment.

At around 3 a.m., police and fire were called back to the same home, now fully engulfed in flames.

This time the home was significantly damaged before firefighters were able to put it out.

“At this time, the RCMP are deeming both fires to be suspicious and both remain under investigation at this time,” Cst. Kelly Brett said in a news release.  “The home was not occupied at the time of the second fire.”
