With warmer weather on the horizon, now is the time to start preparing your home for the summer season.
The Winnipeg Home and Garden Show runs from April 5 – 8 at the RBC Convention Centre.
The show shares ideas for outdoor spaces, gardens and home renovations during the spring from designers and other special guests.
Some of the featured speakers at the show include HGTV Canada’s Tiffany Pratt and Carson Arthur of Home to Win.

Pratt was on Global News Morning in Winnipeg to preview her talk about affordable luxury at the show throughout the weekend.
“Not everyone can afford to have a designer but we want that luxury, and so I want the takeaway from my talk to be… how you can feel empowered to take on your space, spend appropriately and understand what luxury means to you.”
Pratt recommends people bring their phones with photos of their homes to the show, so she can help answer questions.
“Doing something so simple as painting your space and changing your walls, super important.”

At the weekend show, there will be opportunities to ask questions and snag a free, one-on-one consultation with a local renovation or design expert. You’ll also have a chance to walk through outdoor dining displays for inspiration.
