Cannabis has been seized at what Saskatoon police allege is an unauthorized outlet.
Police were called to the 2100-block of St. George Avenue just before 9:30 a.m. CT on Sunday for break-in at a business.
Officers said the glass door had been smashed and a possible break and enter tool was found near the business.
Police said 140 items of raw cannabis, edible cannabis products and other derivatives were seized by officers when they entered the building.
Members of the Saskatoon integrated drug enforcement street team (SIDEST) are now investigating and attempting to identify the people involved in the ownership and operation of the storefront.

It’s the second time this year there has been a break-in at an alleged unauthorized cannabis outlet in Saskatoon.
A storefront in the 600-block of 3rd Avenue North was broken into in late February.
Police officials said the sale of cannabis or cannabis-based products at a storefront remains illegal in Canada.
