New Brunswick RCMP are continuing to investigate a fatal crash that occurred Monday on Highway 11 in Tide Head, N.B.
The Mounties say they responded to the scene of the single-vehicle crash shortly after 2 p.m.

Police believe the crash occurred when the vehicle left the road and hit a cement pole at the Tide Head weight scale.
The driver and lone occupant of the car, a 69-year-old man from Campbellton, N.B., died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained during the crash.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation and is asking anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicle before it left the road to call 506-789-6000.
