Two people were killed after a small plane crashed into buildings just south of Santa Paula, Cali., according to local media reports.
The crash was reported around 2:15 p.m., and an investigation is underway, the Ventura County Star reported.

The victims were not immediately identified, ABC7 reported.
Authorities revealed that the plane was a home-built Vans RV-6A that caught fire after it went down.

The Federal Aviation Authority and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
