Saskatoon triumphs at first national roller derby tournament

EDMONTON – West Ed Mall held the first ever Roller Derby Association of Canada (RDAC) national tournament over the weekend and Saskatchewan was well represented.

Ladies from Saskatoon took on Regina at a track build over the mall’s ice palace in the final on Sunday.

Saskatoon’s Mindfox were victorious against the Sugar Skulls with a final score of 245 to 188.

Mindfox represented the Saskatoon Roller Derby League (SRDL) which was founded in 2007 and has grown to almost a hundred members.
