Edmonton police are trying to find an American man who was visiting Edmonton earlier this month and may have been in an Old Strathcona apartment around the time of the city’s latest homicide.
EPS investigators are looking to speak with 19-year-old Andrew Nicolous Barnett, who they believe was in the suite on 83 Avenue near 107 Street on Sunday, March 11, prior to or during the incident leading to the death of 39-year-old Marlon Jair Nunez.
Barnett is from Atlanta, Ga., and was visiting Edmonton at the time of the incident.
Nunez had been stabbed to death and his body was found in the apartment building after police received a call from a concerned family member.
