Surrey RCMP is sharing photos in an attempt to identify the driver in a hit and run on Sunday night.
According to police, a 38-year-old woman was crossing King George Boulevard in a marked crosswalk around 8 p.m., when she was struck by a black four-door sedan with a tan interior.
The driver of the suspect vehicle didn’t remain at the scene. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police were able to obtain witness video of the suspect vehicle. The images show what may be an early 2000s model Acura TL, and a driver and passenger exiting the vehicle.
The driver was wearing a black coat, and the passenger was wearing a light coloured coat. Police are asking the driver to come forward and share their side of the story.
Police have also released video of a grey or silver van which may have been a witness to the collision. Investigators would also like to speak to the driver of that vehicle.
Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or to make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
