Spring Break family fun at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights

WINNIPEG — Spring Break may be a highly anticipated week for kids, but many parents can feel pressured to have activities lined up for the family.

Fortunately, there’s plenty of things to do around the city including at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.

Interpretive Program Developer Amber Parker said the museum has daily activities set up March 24 – April 1, including Good Friday and Easter Sunday. During this period, admission is free for kids 12-years-old and under.

Parker said this year’s Spring Break activities explore linguistic rights in Canada with a particular focus on the French language. The museum welcomes performances by two local French-Canadian artists: TiBert le Voyageur and Madame Diva.
