Two youths were sent to hospital early Sunday morning after an attempted robbery resulted in a stabbing near a Burnaby SkyTrain station.
RCMP were called to the Edmonds station around 2 a.m. where they say two youths had encountered another group about 40 minutes before.
The group allegedly attempted to rob the pair, although police don’t believe anything was taken.
The two youths suffered minor injuries from the subsequent stabbing and were treated in hospital. They’ve both since been released.
