Global Calgary and 770 CHQR nominated for 14 RTDNA Awards

Global Calgary and Global News Radio – 770 CHQR have collectively been nominated for 14 Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) Awards in the Prairie region.

RTDNA Canada Awards honour the best journalists, programs, stations and news-gathering organizations in radio, television and digital platforms.

Below are the 14 nominations for Calgary’s 2017 content, with two in the digital category, one in the multiplatform category, seven in the radio category and four in the television category.

The Prairie region winners will be announced at the regional awards ceremony on April 21 in Regina, Sask.
