A seven-vehicle crash in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood has sent three people to hospital, one with serious injuries.

The crash happened at Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue on Thursday afternoon.

Police said that a tow truck driver lost control of his vehicle after going into medical distress.  The truck rear-ended a hatchback that then crashed into a hydro pole.

The tow truck driver was taken to hospital in serious condition, but has stabilized and his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Police say traffic is delayed in the area.
