Investigators are trying to determine the cause of an early morning house fire in Saskatoon.
Firefighters were called to 232 Ave. Y South at around 3 a.m. CT Wednesday for a report of a house fire.
Crews said they found light charring around some of the windows when they arrived at the two-storey home and encountered heavy smoke when the front door was forced open.
A search confirmed the house was empty and the fire was quickly put out.
No injuries were reported.
A Saskatoon Fire Department investigator has estimated damage at $50,000.
