Edmonton Eskimos sign veteran defensive back Buddy Jackson

The Edmonton Eskimos signed international defensive back Buddy Jackson to a one-year contract on Wednesday.

Jackson will be entering his fifth CFL season after playing his first two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders and spending the last two with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the B.C. Lions.

In 32 career games Jackson has recorded 105 defensive tackles and one interception.

He played eight games last season for the Lions, recording 17 defensive tackles and one interception.
