Former Melrose Place and Dynasty star Heather Locklear was arrested in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on Sunday night for one count of domestic violence and three counts of battery on a police officer and emergency personnel.

Sheriff’s Capt. Garo Kuredjian told Los Angeles radio station KNX that the victim of the alleged domestic violence was a live-in boyfriend. As of this writing, the alleged victim’s identity is not known. Locklear was previously married to American rockers Richie Sambora and Tommy Lee.

According to audio of the 911 call posted to TMZ, Locklear’s brother Mark called the police after he arrived at her home to find his sister and her boyfriend arguing. The celebrity gossip site reports that the boyfriend “had a visible mark.”

When police arrived, Locklear supposedly went into defensive mode and started flailing and kicking at the three deputies attempting to subdue her.

Kuredjian said Locklear, 56, has been released and is due in court on March 13.

This isn’t the first time Locklear has had a run-in with law enforcement. She was arrested in 2008 for suspicion of driving under the influence, and in 2012, she and her ex-fiancé, fellow actor Jack Wagner, were ordered to appear in court after they had an allegedly violent altercation. Neither wanted to press charges against the other and the case wasn’t pursued any further.

A voicemail seeking comment from the actor was left at the office of a publicist. The call has not been returned and no further details were made available.
