The Regina Pats came back to top the Saskatoon Blades 7-5 in Western Hockey League action (WHL) on Friday.

Kirby Dach, Seth Bafaro, Eric Florchuk and Gage Ramsay scored the first four goals of the game for Saskatoon in front of a crowd of 3,982 at SaskTel Centre.

Cameron Hebig, Koby Morrisseau, Robbie Holmes and Matt Bradley would erase that deficit for Regina.

Chase Wouters reclaimed the lead for the Blades in the third period.

However, Sam Steel would tie it back up and Jared Leglen got the game-winner for the Pats. Bradley got an empty netter and his second goal of the game to finish scoring for Regina.

Pats goaltender Jacob Wasserman stopped 23 shots. Nolan Maier made 29 saves for the Blades.

Regina (33-24-6) moved seven points ahead of Saskatoon in the WHL East Division.

Saskatoon (31-28-3) hosts the Moose Jaw Warriors (44-12-3) next on Sunday.
