Peterborough police seized small quantities of drugs and arrested a man following the search of a home on Park Street South on Wednesday.
Around 5 p.m., members of the ICAD Unit (Intelligence, Crime Analyst, Asset Forfeiture, Drugs), the Emergency Response Team and the K9 Unit conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at home.
Police say they seized cocaine (11.8 grams), heroin (0.9 grams), marijuana (9.4 grams) along with a pellet gun, cellphones and scales.
Derek Keith Reid, 38, of Park Street South, has been charged with two counts of possession of a schedule I (cocaine and heroin) substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a schedule II substance (marijuana under 30 grams).
He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
