Multiple New Brunswick fire departments responded to a fire in the Shediac, N.B., industrial park on Tuesday morning.
Fire officials with the Shediac Fire Department told Global News that the fire appeared to break out in the roof of the Di-Tech building on Addison Avenue just after 8:30 a.m.

Officials say there was a small fire in an industrial fan in the building’s paint room.

Several fire departments from the surrounding area were called to the scene as a precaution but the fire was quickly put out.

One person was taken to hospital with what is believed to be smoke inhalation.
