TORONTO – Canadian stars Jay Baruchel and Alison Pill have called off their engagement.
Baruchel, 30, didn’t comment on the split Sunday night at the Canadian Screen Awards.
The break-up reportedly happened around Valentine’s Day.
At a weekend event in California, Pill was asked by ET Canada for a wedding update. “There will be none,” replied the 27-year-old actress, who was not wearing her engagement ring.

Only last month, Baruchel suggested the nuptials were pending.
“It’ll happen at some point,” he told the Canadian Press.
“Unfortunately, we’re two busy people who are intrinsically lazy.”
Last summer, Pill told The Vulture planning a wedding is stressful. “Don’t do it. Anybody. Everybody should elope.”
Baruchel popped the question over the Christmas holidays in 2010 with an antique Victorian ring. He announced the engagement at the Genie Awards in March 2011 by thanking his “fiancée.”
The couple planned to wed last September at a winery in Quebec.
Baruchel, who was born in Ottawa and raised in Montreal, has appeared in films like The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, She’s Out of My League and Goon. He recently spent time in Toronto filming the Robocop remake.
Pill, a Toronto native, appeared in films like Milk and Midnight in Paris. She currently stars in the TV series The Newsoom.
