A five-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer sent at least two people to the hospital in Saint John, N.B. on Wednesday.
The crash slowed traffic and shuttered an eastbound portion of Highway 7, just west of Saint John, for at least 90 minutes.

The collision was first reported around 8:30 a.m. and fire officials say that one woman had to be removed from her vehicle using the jaws of life.

Although conditions were clear at the time of the crash, some motorists reported slippery road conditions.
