Bob Layton Editorial: God bless you

Delivery weekend continues Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous. Dave Carels, Global News

What a great weekend that was, watching over 1,500 vehicles loaded with elves deliver nearly 24,000 gifts to needy children. I met so many fine people there to help out.

When he heard Jerry Forbes say, “Mommy – was that Jesus?” his heart was touched as he thought, “Oh my, that could be me.”

And indeed, it could have been him and every other volunteer who came out this year to help with traffic or refreshments or to dispatch or porter or wrap or bag or deliver the gifts that you brought in.
