The Vancouver Canucks suffered a 6-1 blowout loss to the Calgary Flames at home in Rogers Arena Saturday night.
Mark Jankowski, Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Bennet, and Michael Ferland each scored goals for the Calgary Flames, while Mark Giordano picked up two.
Markus Granlund scored Vancouver’s only goal in the third period.
Brock Boeser was forced to leave the ice after taking a puck to the left foot early in the second period, and didn’t return.
Boeser leads the Canucks in goals (17) and points (30).
This comes after several other players have been injured this season, including Bo Horvat and Chris Tanev.
Vancouver will next host the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
