REGINA – More international medical graduates have registered in the hope of working in Saskatchewan.
The Saskatchewan International Physician Practice Assessment says 29 graduates registered last month for the program.

If they pass, a 12 week field assessment is all that’s left to complete before they’re in the clear to practice in the province.
Physicians who have been accepted in the program last year are now working in communities including Wakaw, Lloydminster, Turtleford, Rosetown, Tisdale, Nipawin, and Shellbrook.
