A Hamilton police officer has pleaded guilty to a charge of discreditable conduct under the Ontario Police Services Act.
Const. Kudo Park punched a handcuffed, 35-year-old man who had spat in his face on King Street West in 2015.

His penalty will be discussed during another hearing in mid-January.
Park had previously pleaded guilty and received a suspended sentence on a criminal charge of assault in connection with the incident.
In July, he told a judge that he wanted to continue to be a police officer and pledged to never again be on “this side” of court.
