The Mighty Millions Lottery in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation has sold out.
Just hours before the early bird deadline on Nov. 3, all 70,500 tickets had been sold, the foundation announced on Tuesday.
“To sell out by early bird speaks to the generosity of Albertans everywhere and our thanks goes to everyone who purchased a Mighty Millions Lottery ticket,” Mike House, president and CEO of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation said in a release.
This year’s lottery featured a $2.3-million grand prize home that came with an additional $100,000 in cash. All draws will be on Nov.16, with the top four prize draws being made live on Global News Morning Edmonton, starting at 6:40 a.m.

The Stollery Children’s Hospital has more than 291,000 patient-visits each year where they care for the “sickest kids” across Alberta. Thirty-two per cent of those visits come from children outside of Edmonton.
“Every community in Alberta is impacted by the Stollery in some way and whether you’re a mom or a dad, a sister or a brother, an aunt or an uncle, or a grandparent, the success of this lottery is invested in the future of these kids,” House said.
The third annual lottery is expected to raise $1.6 million for the foundation.
