If you made a mistake at work, let’s say you really screwed up a team project that you were working on and your boss pulled you off that project, would you bad mouth your boss to someone else?
Some of you are probably nodding your heads and thinking, yup, I’d do it.
Or you’re thinking to yourself, no way would I ever throw my boss under the bus.
Which brings me to Dallas Stars goalie Ben Bishop.
Bishop was pulled by head coach Ken Hitchcock on Tuesday night after he allowed three goals on 17 shots.
Bishop, who’s new to Dallas this season, got the hook just six minutes into the second period after the Colorado Avalanche took a 3-2 lead.
After the game, Bishop told reporters that he didn’t agree with his coach’s decision to pull him.
Yeesh. He can speak his mind, sure, but doing so this early in the season isn’t something we see every day.
It makes me think that there might be an underlying issue between the goalie and his head coach.
Hitchcock, though, says his decision had nothing to with Bishop, he just wanted to light a fire under his players.
Now it sounds like he has to put out the flames.
