The first call came in at 10:22 p.m. from Showtime Video & Variety at 32 Albro Lake Rd in Dartmouth. Police say officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress, where a man had entered the store with a firearm and demanded the clerk give him cash from the till.

Police say the clerk screamed and the suspect fled the store, while another customer chased him. The suspect was described as a six-foot tall and skinny Caucasian male wearing a dark hoodie.
