Dog, cat, snakes escape northwest London house fire

A number of animals made it safely out of a house fire in the city’s northwest end Wednesday morning.

London fire crews responded to reports of a fire at a semi-detached house on Limberlost Road, in the area of Sarnia and Wonderland roads just before 10 a.m..

Officials told AM980 one person refused medical treatment at the scene while a dog, cat and some snakes got out of the home safely.

The cause of the blaze hasn’t been determined yet and neither has a damage estimate.
