Two Dartmouth men have been charged in connection to a robbery that happened on Monday night.
According to Halifax Regional Police, a man at a Primrose Street apartment answered a knock on the door at around 10:30 p.m.

When he opened the door, a group of men allegedly forced their way in and he was assaulted by two of them.
Police say the victim recognized one of the men.
After taking some of the victim’s belongings, the group of men left. Police say the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police arrested one suspect late Tuesday on Jackson Road and a second man in the early hours of Wednesday at a residence on Primrose Street.
Michael Douglas MacDonald, 41, and Murray Robert Timmons, 26, have been charged with robbery and aggravated assault.

Timmons has also been charged with breach of probation and breach of recognizance.
