RCMP are asking for help as they attempt to solve a 15-year-old cold case.
On Oct. 14, 2002, two hunters discovered human skeletal remains off a logging road on Old Guysborough Road near Dollar Lake Provincial Park.
RCMP say the skeletal remains were later identified as those of Laura Lee Cross, 33.

Police say Cross was last seen on July 12, 2001, and reported missing a month later.
At the time of her disappearance, Cross had been living at 18 Middle Street in Dartmouth.
Cross’s homicide has been added to the Nova Scotia Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.

Anyone with information regarding the person or persons responsible for the murder of Laura Lee Cross is asked to contact the Cold Case Unit of the RCMP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division at (902) 490-5333. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers.
