Halifax Regional Police are investigating a suspected arson that occurred Wednesday morning in Halifax.

Shortly after 8 a.m., officers were called to a report of suspicious fire in the hallway of a vacant building at 5517/5519 Bilby Street.

Firefighers were able to extinguish the blaze and determined that the fire was suspicious.

There were no reported injuries from the fire.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to call police at 902-490-5016.
