Nova Scotia PC MLA hospitalized following medical emergency

Keith Bain, the Progressive Conservative MLA for Victoria-the Lakes, has been hospitalized following a medical emergency.

Bain remains in hospital and is undergoing medical tests, according to a release from the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative Caucus.

There is no indication on the nature of the emergency.

The natural resources critic was elected to his seat in the provincial election earlier this year when he defeated Pam Eyking, the Liberal incumbent who had unseated Bain in the 2013 election by a slim margin.
