Nova Scotia election: Former PC MLA Keith Bain unseats Liberal incumbent Pam Eyking

Former Progressive Conservative MLA Keith Bain has defeated Liberal incumbent Pam Eyking in Victoria-The Lakes.

Bain was first elected in 2006 and held the seat until 2013 when Eyking unseated him.

He is chair of the worship committee of the Boularderie United Church Pastoral Charge and treasurer of the Boularderie Food Bank.

Prior to being elected in 2006, he also served on the Victoria District School Board.

The riding has gone to both the Liberals and PCs, though Bain held it for seven years.

It was first created in 2003 from the districts of Cape Breton-The Lakes and Victoria.
