Alberta election 2017: Spruce Grove results

Stuart Houston has been re-elected as mayor of Spruce Grove, according to unofficial numbers released Monday night. With 5,381 votes, he easily beat his competitor Daniel Doornekamp, who only received 1,631 votes.

Dave Oldham, Searle Turton, Erin Stevenson, Wayne Rothe, Michelle Thiebaud-Gruhlke and Chantal McKenzie were elected as aldermen.

The county results said there were 7,125 ballots cast, which translates to a voter turnout of 28.29 per cent.
