An off-duty Hamilton police officer has been charged with impaired driving after being involved in a crash.
Police were called to a minor collision just after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on Wilson Street and Portia Drive in Ancaster.

The off-duty cop, a 28-year veteran of the Mountain Station Uniform patrol, was charged with impaired driving.
The officer has been released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
The name of the officer has not been released.
