Manitoba RCMP arrested a man in connection to Tuesday’s homicide in Lac du Bonnet.
Jordan Belyk, 20, was charged with manslaughter after a 19-year-old woman was killed. RCMP said Belyk has no fixed address.

Officers first responded to the incident after receiving a 911 call from the victim just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. She was found with life-threatening injuries and rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Belyk was found in the area and arrested.
Police were on scene near a car covered in a blue tarp Tuesday afternoon near Provincial Road 502 and Edward Crescent. A news release Wednesday said officers are expected to remain on scene as the investigation continues.
